Founder, Voice Teacher, Creative Coach

Molly is a proud co-founder, voice teacher and creative coach at NYC Vocal Studio, in addition to currently being on the voice faculty at NYU Steinhardt.  

Molly’s voice students and coaching clients have performed on Broadway and in National Tours and Regional productions throughout the country including: The Rockette's Radio City Christmas Spectacular, Chicago(Bway), Fiddler on the Roof(Nat’l tour), Bullets Over Broadway(Nat’l Tour), Die Fledermaus (Metropolitan Opera), The Iceman Commeth(BAM), Billy Elliott(Nat’l Tour), A Christmas Carol(Nat’l Tour) as well as many local NYC Off Broadway productions and performance venues around the city.

Molly is passionate about connecting students to their own unique voice through exploration of the connection between the body, the brain, voice science and personal expression.

Where did you go to school? B.M. from Carnegie Mellon University, M.A. and Post Masters Certificate in Vocal Pedagogy from NYU Steinhardt

What are your musical influences? There are SO many-Joni Mitchell, Judy Collins, Peter, Paul & Mary, Simon and Garfunkel, Ella Fitzgerald, Brandi Carlile, James Taylor, Audra MacDonald, Dianna Krall, Sara Bareilles, Lin Manuel Miranda and many more!

What’s your favorite part about teaching/coaching/doing your job? There is nothing more thrilling to me as a voice teacher, than seeing a student expressing an idea that is authentic to them as a person, while feeling confident to use all of the colors of their singing voice as a vehicle to tell their own story.
